We Learn Together Language School
About
Located in the middle of the tourist section of Chiang Mai, within Pantip Plaza, is the We Learn Together Language School. The school teaches multiple languages including Thai and English. The director and founder of the school, Nicha Udom, has the desire to help impoverished and at-risk children within the community.
Gospel Seed Network is partnering with the We Learn Together to provide free supplemental English to children (ages 6-11) and a safe area for them to gather. We are teaching up to 11 children, who are at-risk in the community, as they are in potential negative situations ranging form poverty to neglect to abuse. Their parents make them sell flowers and peanuts in the bars until early morning hours.
Our goal is to give them a chance to improve their future, so they can provide for their families. We provide a safe space they can come to each week to escape what is happening in their homes, and we create a relationship with them and their families so we can have an opportunity to step into their lives in a deeper way.
