VILLAGE RESTORATION
We believe God speaks to His people through His Word, burdens their hearts with specific dreams, and desires us to walk together to see His Kingdom come to new lands and new people groups. Villages, families and cultures in partnering villages are torn apart with abuse of alcohol, drugs, sex-trafficking.
Within Village Restoration, Gospel Seed Network, partners with children’s homes and other ministries in impoverished areas to restore the hope, worth and the love in their hearts and in their communities. This is done by coming alongside pre-existing and autonomous ministries with leadership training and coaching them in organizational operations, skill building, and helping them to discern and act on everything that God is telling them to do. Our interaction with each partnership within village restoration may differ depending on the Holy Spirit is leading them to do.

In Chiang Dao, rests the Fountain of Hopoe Children's Home. Established in 2014 by Wanida and Arloo, the children’s home provides an opportunity to rewrite the future for some of the children from the Shehleh Hill Tribe.
Cultural and religious traditions place the children in vulnerable positions of poverty; physical emotional and mental abuse; forced into marriages as elementary kids and used for superstitious offerings by tribal witch doctors.
The Fountain of Hope is a safe place for the abandoned or abused children. They are helping these children see the love of God by creating a family that they can be a part of and together step into the places and spaces of brokenness that surrounds their village. Every abandoned child who comes into this family is fed, nurtured, loved, educated and protected.
14 kids currently live in the home full-time while other children come to stay for a short while to get out of bad dangerous situations.
Wanida and Arloo are passionately obeying Gods calling on their lives by helping to create a new life for these children and to teach them about the one who gives them new life. JESUS.*
What Gospel seed Network is doing in Chiang Dao
Life Skills Class-Every month, we teach the children life skills. This includes practical skills (cooking, cleaning, selecting food at the market); social competencies (racism, social media, social networking and affects of advertising); health skills (hygiene, drug and alcohol use, first aide, and sex); critical thinking skills (empathy, coping with stress, peer-pressure, self-awareness and interpersonal communication); and preparation for the future (finances, jobs, university and living life in different settings, rural vs city).
English Class-Every month, we teach English to the children. The English class coincides with the plan for the Life Skills class, so the children learn situational vocabulary that they will frequently come across in their daily activities.
Strategic planning, coaching towards financial sustainability, and helping them discern their next step as a ministry.
