“For over eighteen years, Care Corner Orphanage has been a place where orphaned and underprivileged Thai children have found a loving home and a place to learn about the love of Jesus. Care Corner Orphanage also believes God has called them into existence to influence all levels of Thai society with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

April 1995 was the inception of Care Corner Orphanage. It first started with twenty-eight children. In May of 2011, there are over eighty children housed at the orphanage in Sanpatong and at Om Sung’s children’s home. The goal of the ministry is to provide spiritual development based on the Bible, basic education, primary health care and the utmost moral guidance as they grow.

Many of the children came from family devastated by drug addiction, AIDS and broken homes. The orphanage also provides shelter for girls who would otherwise be lured into prostitution.” (Bio taken from their website below)

 How GSN comes alongside them

• We teach the children the Word of God, who God is, how to grow in affection for Jesus and the purpose God has for us in each of our lives.

• We provide English class, so that the children will be able to be more fluent and more confident when they speak.

• We provide Life Skills class to help prepare the children for life. We provide a workshop for them to be able to practice the newly acquired skills.

• We take the children on field trips, where they are able to practice the things they learn in both English and Life Skills class in a controlled setting and in a real-life situation.

• We provide the GSN Scholarship to help selected children, in dire need, monetarily with their education.

• We provide special events each year.

 Future Plans

• Create an internship program for the older children who are thinking about their future profession.

• Provide them with a class where they can stay physically fit, teaching them how to play basketball or volleyball.

• Come along side them on projects within their community.
